We guarantee great snow conditions or you ski again on us. Here is how it works. If in the first half-hour after you purchase your lift ticket you feel our snow conditions are not up to your satisfaction and you do not wish to continue skiing, no problem. We'll give you a free ski pass, good for another day...no questions asked. Great? that's incredible!
To be politically correct, we should include "Boarder" when we use "Skier", especially since boarders make up about 35% of our visitors. But here at Maverick we consider everone who straps boards on to their feet as a "Skier". We are all the same family enjoying the same pull of gravity, the beauty of the mountains and the sweet sense of cold air in our face. We hope that we do not offend anyone with the generic use of "Skier" to be inclusive for all the maniacs who enjoy Maverick Mountain.
